Software Engineer (hybrid)

Job Description:

The Software Engineer will port our current data visualization code into a more user-friendly format. The main goal is to help develop data analysis and visualization software. Ateios is seeking high-energy individuals who are proactive and are willing to take ownership of the project.

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Familiar with Frontend as well as Backend programming
• Proficiency with Excel and working with and analyzing large and complex datasets in Excel
• Scripting or coding experience in Python to efficiently filter and work with large volumes of data
• Study the current software system and suggest edits to improve efficiency
• Work on fixing the bugs in the current software system
• Communicate with the internal users to define requirements and modifications
• Research, develop, and design features based on evolving needs
• Work on building a GUI and visualization tool for the internal users
• Self-starter should be able to take the lead in the project
• Team player with strong communication skills

• Familiarity with Visualization tools like Origin, JMP, PowerBI

Requirements:

• Master’s in computer science/Engineering preferred but not required
• US Citizenship is preferred but not required
• US Work Authorization
• Coding and/or data analytics experience
• Ability to maintain multiple projects at once
• Strong ability to communicate computing and code problems and solutions clearly and concisely
• Attention to detail, ability to work well individually and in a team setting

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs
• Ability to work in a mask for multiple hours a day
• Ability to stand for at least and hour and do repetitive tasks with hands
