Ateios Systems Recruits James Pope as SVP of Commercial Operations

Ateios Systems announces today that James Pope will be joining their executive team as the new Senior Vice President (SVP) of Commercial Operations, effective May 16th of 2022.

James Pope brings many years of experience of the growing team. He is a veteran of the Battery/Power Industry with over 34 years of successful leadership supporting next-generation battery solutions and charging technology.

Mr. Pope has been instrumental in commercializing several new cutting-edge products and technologies for a wide range of battery applications and has also been focused on the commercialization of distance wireless charging technology to help further enable OEMs and their next-generation product designs. His success in the industry has also included assisting industry organizations like the Portable Rechargeable Battery Association (PRBA) on their technical and transportation committees and consulting with the industry analysts looking for a deeper understanding of how many of the new battery and charging breakthroughs will have a significant impact in numerous markets and applications.

He will be joining our multidisciplinary team with more than 25 years of experience in nanoengineering, materials science, advanced analytics from the leading institutions including UC San Diego, Purdue University, Florida State University, and SUNY Polytechnic. The executive team is driven to commercializing a revolutionary battery manufacturing technology that will enable the world to cleanly store world’s 20,000 TWh/year energy needs while increase energy density >400 Wh/kg and reducing costs below $100/kWh.
